RSVP matches volunteers with community needs. YOU can choose what you would like to do and how often; once a week, once a month or once in a while for a special project. Your placement is based on your experiences, talents, skills, occupations, professions, hobbies and your willingness to pitch in.
Result: that human feeling of pleasure when someone says, "Thank You" ALSO: that YOU are making an impact while helping to address a community need. RSVP volunteers are covered with excess automobile liability insurance and liability insurance when volunteering. You may also receive a modest mileage reimbursement for travel to and from volunteer jobs if you wish assistance for such an expense. Also, bus fare reimbursement if services are available.
